The NDG Dog Run has been situated in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Park since 1998. The City of Montreal has furnished the major physical features of the run - the enclosure, benches, bulletin board, storage boxes, trees etc. All other aspects of the run are managed by an ad-hoc committee which meets on a regular basis. The committee, along with other volunteers, is responsible for the day to day operation of the run, small repairs and maintenance, cleaning, sanding and shovelling, as well as special projects like the composting program, of which we are particularly proud.

We are always looking for volunteers for the following
jobs:

  • mixing and turning the    compost bins
  • small repairs
  • printing and posting
    signs
  • clearing snow and
